Roly Vincini, founder and team principal of P1 Motorsport and Engineering in 1990, has a long and successful career in Motorsport. His career as a mechanic followed a full apprenticeship working on Ferrari road cars.


He was sent back to college by Ron Tauranac to study Engineering whilst at Ralt Cars, before becoming a mechanic at Brabham, where he was part of F1 World Championship victories in the early eighties, before moving to race engineering with West Surrey Racing.


From there he formed P1 Motorsport, entering the British F3 Championship. Success has followed him through his career, most recently engineering Giedo Van Der Garde and Alx Danielsson to his World Series Drivers Title.
